Stay in a fully equipped self-contained apartment.
This is on the ground level with private entrance, fitted kitchen including fridge, stove, etc.
Two double bedrooms include linens, living room, dining room, luxury bathroom with bath and shower. Use of washing machine is included, as well as water and electricity.

 

The fishing village of Kommetjie lies about 30 km southwest of Cape Town. It is about 200 meters from the beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

 

The Guest House Paredon Alto is owned by a Dutch couple:
Jan and Corrie Menting, they visit South Africa each year for about 6 months from 1995.
Jan can also be your driver and guide when you travel in South Africa.


We offer a standard program but you can also set your own program.

The Republic of South Africa lies at the southern tip of the African continent.
South Africa is 1,221,037 square km about the same size as Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium together. In the northwest it borders Namibia, the northern Botswana and Zimbabwe, the northeast Mozambique and Swaziland and in the south is the south pole.
South Africa is malaria free till the line Lydenburg, which is about 100 km above Johannesburg.
The languages ​​are: Afrikaans, which sounds like Dutch, several local languages but the most also speak English.
Of the approximately 42 million inhabitants, there are 31 million black, about 6 million white, 3.5 million mixed race and about 1.5 million of Indian descent.

The fishing village of Kommetjie is located about 30 km from Cape Town airport, accessible via the Old Kaapseweg or along the coast from Muizenberg.
The most beautiful road from Cape Town to Kommetjie will be: Cape town Green Point - Campsbay - Llandudno - Hout Bay, Chapman Peak.
But there is a toll to be paid


Kommetjie is one of the few places on the coast of the peninsula of unspoilt countryside, away from the big city. Kommetjie has several seafood restaurants and bistros, there is also a lighthouse and an attractive natural harbor.


The country side of Kommetjie is wilder and more interesting for the good climbers and hikers. You can walk for hours or days.
The coastline from Cape Point to Kommetjie is wild and rugged. After Scarborough it becomes Cape of Good Hope (Nature reserve).

Baboons, these animals are not always so friendly! Watch your safety in the vicinity of baboons.
The boats leave the natural harbor of Kommetjie.
